At Consult List, we believe you should decide how involved you’d like to be in the referral process. You can choose to only refer to people you know and trust, or you can open your referral requests to everyone in the region who meets the criteria you specify.
To create a consultation request:
Go to the “Get Help” tab or click the "add" icon
If you are just trying the feature out, but don't have a real case, click, "Mock." Otherwise, click "Real Case"
Use the series of drop down boxes to describe the case, while protecting PHI.
Choose the referral list(s) that you would like to send the case to, and select the check boxes below to customize how you would like the case to be shared with clinician members.
Read and select the last checkbox to verify that you are following posting rules.
Once you click submit, you can choose how you would like to share the case with the client. If you choose to send a text message, please follow the prompts. If you wish to email the list or call at a later time, consider using our handy downloadable log (under the "support" tab) so that you can reference the case later. Please remember: The Consult List does not store client contact information, so you are responsible for maintaining that privately if you plan to personally follow-up.
Interested to try this process without a real case?
If you are just looking to experiment with Consult List, but don't have a real case, click, "Mock." Colleagues will know that the case is not real, and may still offer a consultation so that you can get a feel for the process and our platform.
