TCL allows you to control visibility of who receives specific referral requests. Send to your trusted network of colleagues, or all colleagues in the area who meet the case needs. Here's how to customize case visibility:

If you have a case that you'd like to send to specific people or person, here's how:

If you are sending to a group of colleagues, first, create a Referral List.

Select the referral list that you'd like to send the case to. Make sure that the button "Send to all therapists in my area" is not checked. Choose if you would like to send it to other therapists if you don't get the number of responses you'd like (you can enter this in the text box)

If you want to send a consultation request to just one therapist:

Enter the case, but uncheck all boxes that would send the case to anyone.

Once the case is submitted, you will see it in your cases, and you can click the "recommend a colleague" icon to send it to a specific clinician.

If you want to send it to all area therapists, you can do so immediately by clicking the box, or you can elect to send it out only if your initial search through your preferred referral lists comes up dry.

If you are not accepting any referrals, you are welcome to select “Not Accepting” on the toggle found on the left side of the page. This will indicate to your colleagues that you are unavailable to offer consultations.

By keeping the toggle on “Accepting” this will show to your colleagues that you are open to receiving clinical referrals.
