At Consult List, we understand that the language you use to describe your practice to clients is much different than the language you use to talk to other clinicians (as it should be)!

Creating a Clinical Bio is very important; it's only viewed by fellow clinicians on Consult List. When colleagues are searching for clinicians to grow their referral network in our Inter-Clinician Directory, they'll read this bio to learn more about your training and theoretical orientation. This is a great place for that jargon and acronym-filled language that would be too confusing for prospective clients.

Consider adding where you trained, important clinical experience, certifications, theoretical approaches, and your ideal client profile. Don't forget to fill out information about finances, as well, as many of your colleagues may be interested to know your rates and/or what insurances you are paneled with.
