How do I offer a consultation for a case displayed at Consult List?

To offer a consultation, click the Offer Consultation icon that looks like a raised hand when you hover over the case card or view the case detail screen.

Three things to verify before offering a consultation.

Before offering a consultation, you'll want to have reviewed the case details and verified that your skills and training, financial criteria, and availability are appropriate to the needs of the prospective client. Offering a consultation presumes that you are available to add a client to your caseload if they are a good fit.

Once I offer a consultation, what happens then?

Once you offer a consultation, the referring clinician will be alerted. Generally*, your offer will be added to the consult list, where the prospective client can learn more about you and contact you if they wish.

*A clinician may opt to pre-approve offers to ensure therapists meet criteria before they are added to the list sent to the client.

I offered a consultation by mistake. How do I cancel my offer?

It happens! And, sometimes, our availability changes. You can rescind a consultation offer by clicking the "Cancel My Offer" icon at the bottom of the case card.
